About MRK Marketing

Mindy Klement founded MRK Marketing, Inc. to offer companies an efficient and effective resource to use when they needed help with marketing strategy and/or execution.  With close to twenty years of experience in marketing, Mindy understands that marketing needs to be tailored to each company's audience, goals and objectives.  By implementing integrated marketing plans for her clients, she has helped clients in numerous industries obtain their goals of increased brand awareness, increased lead generation and increased sales.

Prior to MRK Marketing, Mindy served as an Account Director for Powered (now Dachis Group), a social marketing company based in Austin, TX. She consulted with clients, such as AOL, Atkins, iVillage.com and American Express, to optimize their marketing programs by integrating social marketing into their marketing communications plans. Mindy has also worked client-side for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and everything in between. At Motive, Mindy was responsible for Corporate Marketing and Brand Management. During her tenure at AMD, Mindy held several positions, including Marketing Communications, Channel Advertising and Brand Management, where she successfully ensured that a consistent message was communicated through every element of the marketing mix.

Having worked and lived in Austin for close to twenty years, Mindy has a vast network of contacts that she partners with to ensure each project utilizes the best and brightest talent. In her spare time, she enjoys all that Austin has to offer, including running the trails at Town Lake, cooking and dining out, and watching Texas Longhorn football.
